About This Project

The moment you put the album Dandelion on to play, you’ll recognize it as the work of award-winning musician Steve Weeks.  You’ll hear the familiar warm vocals and acoustic guitar work.  You’ll hear the clever wordplay and storytelling that have been likened to the Barenaked Ladies.  You’ll hear the eclectic instrumentation and musical exploration.  You’ll hear reggae and banjos.  You’ll hear pennywhistles, djembes, and ukuleles.  You’ll hear tin cans.

I wrote, recorded and engineered all songs on this CD, designed and created all cover art, and handled all release activities.  This included:

  • Photography and creation of all images
  • Design and layout of all cover art to digi-pack specification of manufacturer
  • Engineering of songs to match specifications of mastering studio
  • Acquiring and assignment all ISRC, Catalog and UPC codes for music
  • Creation of press release materials
