I’ve worked for over 20 years in the IT industry in a wide variety of roles and technologies. I’ve developed applications in languages from COBOL to C#, been a UNIX system administrator, achieved MSCE certification, created web sites using PHP, WordPress and the Microsoft .NET platform, managed LANs and WANs, designed databases, created Flash animations and even written a bit of C++ and Java code. I was very lucky that the company I worked for allowed me to range around and be a jack-of-all-trades.
