KGB3 Event Promotional Material (Belgium)

I was asked to design a concert poster and supporting social media graphic to promote a concert at an event in Lommel, Belgium.  The concert was to take place at night and the event had a fire theme, so I tried to incorporate these elements into the design.  After meeting with the event organizers, I felt that they were looking for an aesthetic that was clean, organized and professional while still attracting the viewers attention and providing the basic details of the concert.

I decided to use a photo of the band from a previous show and used Photoshop to create silhouettes from that image.  One band member was not in the original photo, so I had to utilize an old low-quality photo of him from another performance.  I used Photoshop and Illustrator to create a silhouette of the missing band member that matched the others.  The final poster was on A3 paper, a poster-sized standard in Europe, and the social media graphic matched the dimensions for a Facebook event posting.
